Our Goal
Our goal is to provide lasting hope and educational support for children and their families residing in shanty communities surrounding Cape Town. Our hope and desire is that greater educational opportunities will lead to a lifetime of advantages for young children and their families who are currently disadvantaged by poverty and hopelessness.
Our Current Projects

After Care Project
Our initial project was a preschool in the Campground informal settlement during the 2017 and 2018 school years. As the preschool children in the Hope South Africa program completed the preschool project and moved on to participate in primary school, we began an after school care program. The program includes transportation to/from the program (being hosted by Strandfontein Baptist Church), a nutritious snack, academic tutoring, and a safe, loving environment that supports them in their school success!
